Expressing through paint what I
can't explain in words is an
intuitive process for me. I draw
on the landscape of the interior
world, sorting though emotion,
memory, and desire.

Through my paintings, I invite
others to contemplate their
own processes and struggles
as we mature through life.

My artwork has explored a
variety of metaphors over the
years: young children growing
into teens discovering their
uniqueness and relationship
to the world, the female figure
confronting the labyrinth,
figures falling or flying, plants
growing from a bed of bones.

All of these are open-ended
visual narratives.
